The King of Good Times

The white-throated kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis) otherwise called the white-breasted kingfisher or Smyrna kingfisher, is a tree kingfisher, broadly circulated in Asia from Turkey east through the Indian subcontinent to the Philippines. It can frequently be discovered well far from water where it nourishes on an extensive variety of prey that incorporates little reptiles, creatures of land and water, crabs, little rodents and even winged animals. Amid the rearing season they call noisily in the mornings from unmistakable roosts including the highest points of structures in urban ranges or on wires.

The Iron Pillar

An amazing piece of mining engineering during the reign of slave dynasty. The Pillar stands still till date and has no sign of wear inspite of the fact its made of pure iron ore.
Though this pillar was build in a place called "Quilla Rai Pithora" which was the indian architecture when delhi was in the hands of Prithviraj Chauhan. Several Hindu temples were destroyed to build this complex which also holds one of the tallest Minaret of the world, The QUTUB MINAR.
One can still find the sculptures of lord Ganesha and other deities on the pillars.

Red vented bulbul

In a fine winter evening one could hear the chirping of birds, also there hunt for food either for themselves or their hatchlings.
It's a hard shot to get as it requires a lot of patience for the right time to click.
For this kind of shots try using a tripod so as to avoid shaking of hands and use a bigger lens(at least 55-250).
